Xiaomi launches two new smartphones for less than € 90
Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi officially announced its new low-end smartphones. Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C are the two inexpensive models that do not exceed 100 dollars.
The low price of these cell phones is due to their basic functions and the few "luxuries." For example, the 9A does not have a fingerprint reader, a typical component in today's smartphones.

Xiaomi Redmi 9A

The Xiaomi Redmi 9A is emerging as one of the most modest Xiaomi terminals for this 2020 and the spiritual heir to the Xiaomi Redmi 8A. Some specifications are maintained, such as the 2 GB of RAM, while others improve or change, such as the processor, which goes from being signed by Qualcomm to the MediaTek Helio G25 of this Xiaomi Redmi 9A.

This Xiaomi Redmi 9A is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G25 processor. It has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, which you can expand up to 512GB with an SD memory.

The Xiaomi Redmi 9A continues to have single-lens cameras both in front and behind. The selfie camera is 5 megapixels, while the rear shooter is 13 megapixels.

The strong point of the Xiaomi Redmi 9A is still its 5,000 mAh battery, although it is not clear if it includes some type of fast charge as was the case with the Redmi 8A, which supported 18W charging. We will have to wait for Xiaomi to release the full list of specifications to find out.

Its LCD screen is 6.53 inches, has HD resolution and a 20: 9 aspect ratio. Its teardrop-shaped notch elevates the 5-megapixel selfie camera. While the main camera is 13mpx.

The autonomy of the Redmi 9A is quite wide, considering its 5,000 mAh battery. Also, the Type-C connector introduces fast charging on this model.

Xiaomi Redmi 9C

The Xiaomi Redmi 9C is also below the Xiaomi Redmi 9 model, although at a lesser distance. In this case, the processor chosen is the slightly higher MediaTek Helio G35, also accompanied by about 2 GB of RAM that seems a bit scarce for the times and 32 GB of expandable internal memory.

The screen is exactly the same as in the Xiaomi Redmi 9A, so we have an LCD panel with a 6.53-inch diagonal and HD + resolution, topped by a drop-shaped notch. This notch shelters the 5 megapixel front camera.

The main camera of this Xiaomi Redmi 9C is still 13 megapixels, although it is now a three-lens camera. Unfortunately, Xiaomi has not disclosed the specific specifications of the other two sensors, although previous rumors described them as a 5 megapixel wide angle and a 2 megapixel depth sensor.

The battery of the Xiaomi Redmi 9C remains at 5,000 mAh capacity, again without mention of any type of fast charge. This time the fingerprint reader is included in the back of the terminal.

In the 9C model, the biometric fingerprint sensor is present, absent in the Redmi 9A.

Price

The Xiaomi Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C were initially presented in Malaysia, where they are put on sale in a single version with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage each.

Although its availability in other regions has not yet been announced, it was known that the first is around € 75, and the second slightly less than € 90
